Description

This app will install Debian Jessie.
You do not need to root your device, it will work fine withany stock ROM.
You will need 900 Mb free on internal storage. This app cannot beinstalled to SD card.
A mouse or stylus is highly recommended.
This app is NOT full Debian OS - it is a compatibility layer,which allows you to run Debian applications.
Your phone is NOT rooted during installation.
This is NOT official Debian.org release.

Do not uninstall this app if you have Android 4.4 or older - youwill not be able to install it again, because of a bug in Android,which was fixed in Android 5.0.
Clear app data instead to save space - long-press app icon indrawer, drag it to App Info icon, and select Cleardata.
If you want to use web browser, open Terminal and runcommand sudo apt-get update ; sudo apt-get installiceweasel
If you want to use Eclipse or other Java applications, installpackage openjdk-7-jdk and restart Debian app, becausedefault JDK does not work on Samsung devices.
To disable gyroscope, tap Change device config during appstart, select Mouse emulation →Advanced →Gyroscope.
To set 24bpp color depth or portrait screen orientation, go toChange device config → Video.
If your favorite music player does not work - install packagegstreamer0.10-pulseaudio.

How to Install the OBB File (APK Expansion File)

  1. Firstly, Download APK file of the app Debian noroot 15.10.21 for Android.
  2. Copy the APK file to your Android device's SD card and Install it. (Don't open it after installation)
  3. Download Obb files and copy the *.obb file named 'main.151021.com.cuntubuntu.obb' into the required location:
    /SDCARD/Android/obb/com.cuntubuntu/
  4. The full/absolute path of the obb file should look like as the following (Case-sensitive):
    /SDCARD/Android/obb/com.cuntubuntu/main.151021.com.cuntubuntu.obb

    If there is no such location, you need to create the path or folder manually on your SD card.
